Welcome to "Al Podere Dei Nonni", that is, our grandparents' farmhouse!
We are Irene and Peter, young world citizens excited to share our Podere and its story with you. Irene, who spent much time on the farm as a child visiting her grandparents, has been happily working to give the farm its new vibes and has taken the opportunity to spend more time with her Grandma Benigna who is still living on the farm. Peter, Irene’s husband, is originally from the United States and is driven by his curiosity of the world, living a good life, and bringing an open- and educated-mind to those around him. Together, we decided to come and revitalize the farm so we could live a life in contact with nature while mixing new and worldly ideas with the rich tradition of Maremma.
We have created a place where the relationship with nature is fundamental and where the warmest hospitality is mixed with youth-educational farm and social agricolture’s projects.
Thus a dream was born: a beautiful Agritourism in Maremma, Tuscany with an international breath that is closely linked to its roots.

Our farmhouse offers 4 bedrooms and 1 private apartment which were all skillfully renovated from pre-existing buildings on Benigna’s farm. The farm also offers a beautiful handicap accessible bio-swimming pool, surrounded by countryside, and protected by the centenary olive tree standing by its side.

Come and discover Maremma through our Experiences. We offer five themed educational workshops. The workshops can also be catered to children or to participants of social agricultural experiences.
A relaxing holiday thanks to the warm welcome, the wonderful swimming pool on the golden hills surrounded by cypresses and the finely renovated bedrooms. Our Samuele had fun playing with the farm animals and for us it was a strategic starting point to practice sporting and cultural activities!

Al podere dei nonni: an holiday in Tuscany between the nature and the stars! We have enjoyed new sounds... Those of the nature: in the morning at the fantastic swimming pool and later on with the friendly dwarf sheeps and the chickens. Peter and Irene welcomed us in an unique way and let us feeling at home. Our children didn't want to leave... Fantastic!
